Yamamichi Kendo club has been established for a 7 years
now and we have a cross section of Men and Women of all ages
committing to regularly Kendo training on a Friday evening in
Somerset and Thursday evening’s in Exeter.
Yamamichi Kendo clubs trains Friday and Thursday Evenings
between 7pm and 10pm (Williton) and 7.45pm and 9.45 pm (Exeter).
We ask that all students arrive at 10 minutes early to change and prepare
for training.
Our training charges are £5.00 for all students. All fee’s payable by
standing order* only, this route of payment also gives the bonus of giving
our students a number of free sessions through the year.
Yamamichi Kendo club use the British Bushido Association syllabus
for teaching Kendo. This is based on the All Japan Kendo Federation
syllabus As a Kendo association we proud to be able to spend a lot
of time developing our Kendo and training methods with the assistance
of a number of very important Japanese Sensei’s based in Japan and
the United Kingdom. This guarantees that we never fall behind in our
development of Kendo.
